Stinkhorn fungus at the Singapore Botanic Garden

This stinkhorn fungus was standing at the foot of a tall tree attracting my attention. It lived up to its name with several flies hovering around it. The stink did not bother me because I only wanted to take photos of it. In this set, I wanted to show how intricate nature's handiwork is in all forms of life, big or small.

Singapore Botanic Gardens

I wasn't looking for fungi this morning. Just passing through a bamboo grove in the Singapore Botanic Gardens and a bit of orange caught my eye. I knew it would be something worth investigating.
