Chomp chomp! Some creature must have feasted on this stinkhorn fungus before it kicked the bucket elsewhere.

Changi Coastal Walk

From the West Coast to the East. I spotted this mushroom growth along the Changi Coastal Walk. They have thick stems and I do not think that I have seen them before.

Two things that attracted me to these fungi - the pink spotw on the mushroom caps and the globules of sticky-looking substance on them.

The camera was not up to par when I tried to photograph these spindly mushrooms. I noticed that the stems had an interesting texture and wanted to do a close-up of them. Unfortunately, none of my attempts were successful.
